CHAPTER 1

THE LOTTERY TICKET

Olivia, Mike and Maggie were sitting in their fields with their dogs talking about which places they loved the most. As they were talking, their mother Mrs. May called them and asked them to go home with their dogs. She said, the sun's setting and your father is going to come soon. The three children got up with their dogs and walked back to Rose Cottage.

Rose Cottage was their home which was located on the top of a hill. 

As they reached Rose Cottage, each one of them took a towel which were kept on the porch. They were kept to wipe the dogs a little bit make them a little bit clean and bring them inside their house. After rubbing their dogs with the towels and making them clean they went inside the house. After freshening up they went upstairs to their room and started playing board games.

About half an hour later their father Mr. Donald came back from work. As soon as he came in, he called out to his wife and three children. All three came running down the stairs and almost bumped into their mother.

They all together asked their father what happened. Their father laughed and said I have a surprise for you all! I have brought five lottery tickets for tomorrow, as tomorrow is Sunday, I bought these five tickets.

Olivia asked her father what will we get if any of us win this lottery? Their father answered and said it is going to be a very big surprise.

Mike, Maggie, Olivia and their mother said if any of us win this lottery, it would be very great. It would be magical, Isn’t it?
